Q:
When is the server merge happening?
A:
Jan 20th. It will be down for about a week.
Q:
What servers are being merged together?
A:
New Sigil = Sigil, Fabar, Rancid New Torax = Torax, Zimbob, Quiver
Q:
What happens if I already have 25 accounts on each server?
A:
They will carry over to the new server as well. So instead of having 25/25 you will have 75/25.
Q:
Whats going to happen with character and crew names?
A:
Player who had the name longer will get to keep their name. Duplicate names will be renamed to username(2) or username(3). Same goes for crew names. Players will be given a free name change if their name has a (2) or (3) next to it.
Q:
Will god spawn times and points be raised?
A:
As of now, no. We want to see how the game goes after the merge before we touch any of that.
Q:
Will max crew member cap be raised?
A:
No. But they could change if we see the need for it as a result of the merge.
Q:
What will happen to our damage done to the bosses before the merge?
A:
When the merge happens and we take down the game, we will run the award script with the current damage done to all bosses.
Q:
Will all our characters and items be merged?
A:
Yes. All characters, items, and items in crew vaults will be merged. There is one thing you need to know about crew vault items that are "Available to" specific players. After the merge they will still show the current names as they are now, they wont show the merged account name if it changes.
Example: I get an Alsayic item on Fabar server for my character Shady. So its raidbound to my character. But it stays in the vault during the merge. My Shady character will then be called Shady(2) because of the merge but the item in the crew vault will still be for the name "Shady" but will only be available to "Shady(2)". It goes by user id which is why it will still be only available to that specific character even after the merge. If you need any clarification on this, let us know.
